Lecture 9 : Continuous LTI Systems
 
   Objectives
   In this lecture you will learn the following
We shall derive the response of a LTI system for any arbitrary continuous input x(t) by expressing x(t) in terms of impulses.
We shall mathematically calculate the 'impulse response' of the RC (resistive and capacitive) system.
We shall understand the use of generalized functions
We shall find the response for an arbitrary continuous time signal as the superposition of scaled and shifted pulses using convolution integral.
We shall also look into convolution done in graphical manner.
