The word ‘cyber' is a prefix from the Greek word ‘kubernetes' which means steersman, referring to one who is skilled in steering and governance, a leader. And this governing is through electronic control. It was first used by Norbert Wiener in Cybernetics, or control and communication in the animal and machine (1961).
Cyberculture refers to the electronic environment where various technologies and media forms converge. These are: the Internet, videogames, email, homepages, chats, bioinformatics etc.
