	Overview This chapter covers basic aspects of traffic signal coordination. Signal coordination is done when they are closely space to enable vehicle in one predominant direction to get continuous green. This will reduce the delay and travel time in one direction and increases throughput. The design principles of signal coordination will be presented in this chapter.
