Since the Bragg reflections, hkl planes and the lattice spacing are known for gold sample from XRD pattern, the camera length for the TEM image can be determined using L=(R.d) / λ, if one calculates the diameter of the ring using image software (photoshop) and knowing the wavelength of the electron. A typical calculation is shown in the next slide:
