Derivation of Lens' Maker Formula

A lens is specified by its focal length. If the medium of both sides of lens is same, the primary and secondary focal length (f=f ') are same and is related to the refractive index (n_l) of lens material and the radii of curvature(R₁,R₂) of two surfaces. In the following we shall derive the relationship between the R₁,R₂ and n_l.
