Signals in Natural Domain
Chapter 2 : Simple Operations and properties of Sequences

Some Properties of signals
Energy of a Signal:
The total energy of a signal {x[n]} is defined by
$\displaystyle E_x=\sum\limits_{n=-\infty}^{\infty}\vert x[n]\vert^2$
A signal is referred to as an energy signal, if and only if the total energy of the signal Ex is finite.
