Human beings can perform numbers of grips based on different positions. The human hand can be used to grip objects in several different positions. Naturally different positions require different types of grip maneuvering which are determined the way the hand is being used. Hand has different pressure points and touch sensations (plate 11). The affectionate soft touch reveals different sensations and emotional impact. Hence, in contrast to tight and firm grips, soft touch may as well exert different types of functioning, where the sensitive nerves would respond and produce delicate feelings. |
