The bending and flexing are frequently demonstrated through the movement of the fingers and palm (plate 6A). The joints of each finger bones are part of
flexing (plate 6A) while the entire palm including the fingers (plate 6B) demonstrates the bending gesture. The closed fist flexes the fingers while the total fist does the bending paradigm. It is a complex paradigm that involves multiple paradigms during the operation.
