Plate 22B http://www.glaucoma-eye-info.com/eye-structure.html ; Aug 6, 2012)
Coconut has similar integrate complex inner structure that protects. The structure of coconut (plate 22A) could be metaphorically compared with human eyes (plate 22B). Coconut inside is hollow and filled with fluid (plate 22A), which is protected by the out hard-shell. The innermost layer of the coconut is white. It is the part that we eat. The retina is the eye structure analogous to the white part of the coconut. The ‘aqueous humor’ is responsible for the pressure that I measure inside your eye. Thus nature has built protective measures for the delicate parts till it is matured and able to sustain by its own mechanism. Coconut inside (core) is well protected by the layers of coir and hard-shell. Coir has the layers with air passage around to take the shock when it hits the ground. Once the coconut drops on the water the air layers inside the coir helps to float the coconut for moths till reaches the land. The coir is again layered by the outer-coat so that the water does not seep inside. It is indeed an incredible design that the nature has created for the protection of the future germination.
‘Enclosure Paradigm involves the way that things are held, erased, wrapped, and sheltered. Enclosure can imply shelter, as it does with buildings. In can imply containment, either protecting the contained, as with a shipping container, or protecting the environment outside the container, as with enclosures for nuclear waste. In all cases, enclosure is about separating the enclosed from everything else, and in many cases the enclosure also serves to maintain different environment from its surroundings. An enclosure might serve to preserve or protect from environmental variations, such as atmospheric content, temperature, pressure, light levels and qualities, the presence of chemicals, and presence of radiation or magnetic field. We also enclose things to prevent the spread of organisms in or out of the enclosed areas.
