Type II

• Gradual loss of magnetisation

• Does not exhibit complete Meissner Effect

• Two H_C s – H_C11 & H_C2 (≈ 30 tesla)

• Mixed state present

• Hard superconductor

• Eg.s – Nb-Sn , Nb -Ti
