Detection of glycoprotein and phosphoprotein- Protein sample resolved on SDS-PAGE is stained with the different reagents to specifically detect glycoprotein and phosphoprotein. Periodic acid Schiff (PAS) reagent specifically stain the glycoprotein. Where as phosphorylated protein can be detected by labeling with 32P followed by the autoradiography.
