   i.e.

\begin{displaymath}x^2 + y^2 = e^{-\frac{4\pi\epsilon_0\phi_0}{\lambda}}\end{displaymath}
  which represent cylinders with axis along the z-axis with radii

\begin{displaymath}r = e^{-\frac{2\pi\epsilon_0\phi_0}{\lambda}}\end{displaymath}

  As $\phi_0$increases, radius becomes smaller. Thus the cylinders are packed closer around the axis, showing that the field is stronger near the axis.
