Abstract:
In this presentation, we have tried to understand how human vocal and hearing organs work. We have studied there input and output signals. We have then drawn the analogy of these organs with circuits and applied the concepts of signal and systems. We have tried to represent ear and vocal chords and vocal tract as a system and have defined approximate input and output signals to this system, thus drawing a parallel between mechanical system and biological system. We also have tried to find out various properties of these mechanical systems.
