In the previous lectures we
have systematically studied Laplace and Z- Transforms.
We started with
their respective definitions, similarities in properties
and the respective Inverse LT and ZT. Also we
studied an important concept of ROC for LT as well
as ZT. In this lecture we will use the ROC concepts
to understand poles, zeros and rational systems.
Let us define Rational system and Rational system functions.
We shall define poles and zeros of a rational system function.
We shall see what happens when we differentiate Laplace and z-transform and application of the above properties.
