5.5.3 Measurement of Pyroelectric Coefficient
One of the direct methods of measurement of pyroelectric measurement is shown below. The circuit connecting a pyroelectric material (held inside an oven) with an amplifier and then measuring the pyro-current. The pyroelectric coefficient is given as
Where Ip is the pyrocurrent and is given as
where Rs and Ra are the leakage resistance of the sample and input resistance of the amplifier respectively.
