1. Write briefly about proper names.

Ans.: According to Russell, there are two types of proper names. These are;

1. Ordinary proper name
2. Logically proper name

In ordinary proper name, it does not matter whether it is denoting or not. But in the case of logically proper name, it must designate something as 'one' and 'simple'. It can be replaced by descriptions. Thus, it can be treated as significant through its definite descriptions.
