Standard Color Coding

	Red	fire protection devices
	Yellow	acids, gases, steams, hazardous materials
	Orange	same as yellow
	Green	safe material- water, compressed air
	Blue	protective material - gases or liquids used as antidotes
	Purple	precious material

Pipes may be double banded as with purple and yellow to indicate 'hazardous and valuable' material.
