Right understanding and competence

To explain that if everyone wants to make everyone happy then why do actually people make each other unhappy, JV introduces the concept of competence. JV argues that people have a natural intention to make others happy. Therefore, everyone wants to make everyone happy but as of today people do not have competence to make others happy. Here the term competence is defined in a different sense. It does not merely explain competence in terms of power or resources it defines competence more in terms of right understanding and self exploration. What is right understanding? The answer is: right understanding is that we want to live in mutual happiness with human beings and in mutual prosperity with the rest of the nature. For developing competence, one needs clear understanding and guidance. To have competence is to have a clear understanding of human goals, self confidence and the ability to actualize one's understanding in real life.
