  Lecture 37: Value Education -II

Sociology in Jeevan Vidya

Unlike the old spiritual philosophies of India, Vedanta, Sankhya, Buddhism etc. JV takes the social dimension of right understanding as seriously as the individual dimension. As per the tenets of JV the aim of life is to live responsibly in harmony with society and existence. There is no individual Nirvana or Moksha for an individual person. Personal salvation goes against the humanistic philosophy of JV.
