-
Deviation on the part of a professional or business person from the organization rules governing behavior at work place.
-
Deviation from legal codes on the part of a professional or business person.
-
Use of trust or power entrusted at the work place for private gain not expected from the professional. This kind of deviance, called corruption, is often difficult to detect.
-
Activities of the business (organization) visibly leading to harmful effects on society, environment, or a specific group in society.
-
Activities of the business (organization) leading to harmful effects on society, environment, or a specific group in society which are not visible in the short run and which require serious professional analysis of the short term and long term effects.
-
Activities of individuals or organizations promoting wrong values in society. One can very well argue that the narrow view of business, albeit having a powerful philosophical substratum of free market theory, is itself a harmful view and must be resisted.
