A support grip typically involves holding something, such as carrying load of boxes (plate 14A). Naturally carrying such load to a distance requires strength along with strong grip. Lifting and carrying heavy baggage (plate 14B) fair amount of distance requires strength, grip and endurance. A great deal of muscular endurance is necessary to have a good carrying grip (plate 14C). Grip strength is the force applied by the hand to pull on or suspend from objects and is a specific part of hand strength. In order to pull/ lift any heavy object, one has to apply force by hand that requires strong grip. Lifting a heavy tire (plate 14C) demands extraordinary muscular strength and support-grip. Hence, support-grip requires muscular strength and necessary grip to carry heavy object.

Without having proper body movements human beings are handicapped. Each part of our body can perform complex and multitasking activities. Human body can perform complex paradigms depending upon the need. Bending, stretching, lifting, gripping, touching, etc. are some of the elements of the complex human body functioning. |
