The mechanism of Scissors Paradigm, demonstrates contraction and expansion mechanism. The principle of scissors has wide-scale applications in industries and in domestic applications in various forms. The pivoted joints (plate 37) of two blades or more create a flexible mechanism of Closer and Expansion Paradigm.  The said mechanism has given us a common snake-toy (plate 37) that amuses children in rural India. Around Banaras such wooden toys are still available. Various products from the hospital application (plate 36A) to household device (plate 36D) to industrial device (plate 36B&C) for lifting heavy weight or to reach higher height the concept of scissors have helped us enormously.
