Bending allows returning to its original position due to its quality of elasticity. Flexing changes the angle. Household wires (plate 8A) that are used for various purposes usually have the bending quality. Paper clip (plate 8D) can be bent and bring back to its original shape/ position. Flexing can create smaller angle (plate 8B&C) and make it shorter or bigger. Sapling shows the characteristic of bending (plate 7A) against wind. It survives against gusty wind because of its capability of bending.
