PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE FOR BOT PROJECTS

The procedure for procurement of infrastructure projects involves a series of stages through which the government invites and engages the private sector to submit a firm bid. The typical procurement procedure of PPP projects is shown below. In the earlier stages of the procurement process, the public entities play an active role in preparation of the necessary platform for inviting and engagement of private sector in the procurement process. Whereas, the private sector take part in the procurement process and plays an active role in the procurement process after issue of tender documents.
