Course abstract

This course is designed to introduce the role of infrastructure in economic growth. The broad view of physical as well as social infrastructure will be dealt in depth which will be helpful for the students at UG level and also for the M.Tech students in Civil and Engineering, researchers at various infrastructure firms and Non Governmental organization in social sector.

Prof. Nalin Bharti

Nalin Bharti is an Assistant Professor of Economics (in School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Patna) and works in the field of Macroeconomic Reforms, WTO and India. After finishing doctorate from JNU, New Delhi in 2005 he has served 12th Finance Commission, Government of India and NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad (India’s top Law School).He has a large contribution in National as well as in international Journal and books. He has also supervised projects for UNICEF. His recent book Privatization Unbound, Bookwell, 2009 is an important inclusion for India’s top economic and business institution.
