Prof. Basavaraj Madivala Gurappa

The instructor is an associate professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai. He received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering degree from the Bangalore University, M. Sc by research degree from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and Ph.D. from the KU Leuven, under the supervision of Prof Jan Vermant. After a postdoctoral position at University of Delaware, he joined IIT Madras in 2011. His research involves study of colloids and interface science.
