Course Name: Introduction to Nonlinear Dynamics

Course abstract

This course is an introduction to nonlinear dynamics. The style of the lectures will focus on analytical methods, geometric intuition and examples, and will avoid rigorous proofs and abstract algebra. The material will cover first-order differential equations, and their bifurcations, and will be followed by phase plane analysis, limit cycles and their bifurcations. The course is suited for students in physics, biology, chemistry and engineering.
