Module 1: Fuels characterization and energy balance
  Lecture 2: Characterisation of Fuels

Fuel is a source of energy. Industrial growth, among other factors, is largely dependent on consumption of energy. Large amount of energy requirement can only be met by fossil fuel reserves, though renewable source of energy can decrease to some extent the dependence on fossil fuel. Optimization of energy consumption is necessary. Characterization of fuel is important to search ways and means to optimise the energy consumption.
