The fundamental frequencies obtained by HPFE and the corresponding values obtained by ABAQUS are listed in Table 19.2. The results show that the fundamental frequencies obtained from HPFE with 8 elements used in the present analysis are in good agreement with results from standard FEM package ABAQUS.
