The magnitude of is 0.313 in Figure 11.27(a) and is 0.281 in Figure 11.27(f). This value approaches in Figure 11.23 as the number of data sampled increases.

 

Note : Different types of definition of DFT and IDFT are used, depending upon personal preference. Some use the following definitions, in which the magnitudes of coincide with that of Fourier transform in Figure 11.24.
