  • Note that control rods are inserted from the bottom of the vessel.
  • Note that the reactor building is also called containment building.
  • This is because in case of any accidents, the radioactive products are trapped (contained) in this building.
  • Note that only reactor is in the containment building.
  • The turbine and condenser are housed outside.
