The above vehicle (plate 9) colors indicate the status and the value. Between the two the white color adds to a special status compare to the blue color. The type of pigment (metallic/ matte/ gloss) would further enhance the status of the product.
The choice color and application should be done logically rather than spontaneously. The application should cautiously with various other consideration- culture, society, economy, etc. Liberal use of color on randomly may cause difficulties to in operation. Contrasting colors can be applied to those controls that are critical and most important, even though they may be rarely used.

Designers should not try to deceive the user with the help of color. One should be honest and true to the material. By applying wood color on other material to give a wood finish should avoided. Bathroom tap should not be brass-coated on steel to increase the intrinsic value of the product.
