Module 13: Conclusion
  Lecture 40: Conclusion

  • Non-advocacy of what is not naturally acceptable to me as a human being.

  • Recognize that all human beings have the same status and similar existential and intellectual problems as I am experiencing, and all want a solution to them along similar lines. This goes with the character of humanity. Any idea or action that has potential to damage equality is immoral.

  • Follow a middle path in everything and avoid excesses. In case of restrained behavior it is easier to change or correct yourself than in case of excesses. Experience shows that our ideas may change and we may like to correct ourselves.

  • To the extent possible in my life world, convert ideas into action, observe the consequences, and learn from them for future action.

  • Not get carried away by extremist or apocalyptic ideas. If the world is to end it will but I can happily continue to act in the interest of humanity because that is important for my happiness as a human being.

  • Integrate work place activities with human morality and individual happiness. If we cannot ignore the roles and responsibilities, and if we also cannot ignore the organization culture, how can we ignore the needs of larger society and our own happiness, which is of tremendous concern to us as well as to humanity?

  • Find your own way. In case of moral or social conflicts listen to your conscience.

If we can do the above we will at least not further contribute to chaos and we will be happy to feel that we have done something for both self and others.
