Subjective happiness

Lyubomirsky and Lepper (2011) developed a measure of subjective happiness and it was validated on more than two thousand seven hundred student participants in USA. Their scale is given in Box 4.1. The scale consists of four items, each of which attempts to explore the subjective side of one’s happiness.
