Introduction
This lecture is devoted to discussion of Christianity, Islam, and Sikhism. Among the three, Christianity came with the British rule, Islam is the religion of the largest religious minority in India, and Sikhism is one of the youngest and most vibrant religions of India. In the recent past there have been so many interpretations of Islam in secular circles that it is risky to say which one is true. In this way Islam is not different from Hinduism. Yet we have to have some exposure to Islam which is a potent political and social force in the contemporary world.
