This package provides an attractive and unusual means of packing a variety of materials (plate 23). Can be decorated directly, or covered with printed-paper. Dodecahedron- This package is based on a dodecahedron - a twelve faced solid, with each facet being a regular pentagon. The package is best assembled by using small strips of paper as flaps. The net supplied has only one end cap for the tube, but the end cap may be easily copied if two are required. The tube is best glued along the flap. The tube shape is inherently very rigid, and even tubes made from thin card can support comparatively large weights along their axis.
