Three pentagons joining at each vertex constructs the Dodecahedron. We next try squaring faces, and succeeding in creating the familiar Cube. Dodecahedron has twenty vertexes and twelve faces. The construction of dodecahedron can produce numerous decorative products including soccer ball. The convex structure helps to develop sphere shape leading to various consumer products (plate 8).

Putting five equilateral triangles around each vertex yields the Icosahedrons, which has 20 faces and 12 vertices. Building design has efficiently applied the same principle to produce very effective light weight structures (plate 9).
