The concept of passage has inspired man to create numbers of products for the purpose of safety and comfort (plate 5A).Construction of brick-bridge on shallow water body is popular a concept from ancient time for the passage (plate 5B) of boats without any stoppage. Mammals have the umbilical cords as the passage between the mother and the unborn infant for the supply of nutrient-rich blood and other essential elements. Similar concept of umbilical cord is used during the space-walk (plate 5C). It has the passage to supply essential elements for the survival. Living beings are supported by such mechanism. For the supply of water canal passages (plate 5D) are created around the world. Indus Valley constructed canals to bring water from the Indus River to Mohan-jo-daro and Harappa cities. The concept of passage has benefited us in many ways.
