Why things are made smaller?

Changing between bigger and smaller states that evolve around living beings is the part of life. To become bigger or smaller depends upon various conditions- protection, weather, fear, survival, sexual desire, etc. To fit into a smaller space, to become harder to see, to minimize with resistance, to minimize heat loss are some of the essential manifestations of living beings.

Growth of a plant from seed stages (plate 1A) are sign of life. Similarly from the infant stage to the adulthood man grows (plate 1B) showing the sign of living beings. However, the synonymous to life is the manifestations of growth are naturally exhibited from its smaller to bigger stages. Things that can change between the two, becoming bigger or smaller as needed, can enjoy the advantages of the both- ‘larger and smaller’ sizes. Try to imagine bird couldn’t make itself larger or smaller as needed.
