Pouch- pouch is the sub-category of bags. Pouch is a small bag often closing with a drawstring and used especially for carrying loose items in one's pocket. Pouch is flexible which is stretchable. Pouch can be closed from one end. Because of the softer stretchable material pouch cannot carry heavy material. Pouch is found in nature in various usages. It is sack like structure with softer material. Pelican’s pouch (plate 37A & B) is an excellent example of Pouch Paradigm.

Conclusion
Paradigms are all around us waiting to be discovered. Design profession must inculcate the keen observation of nature. Paradigms help us to innovating new things which are the most sought after in the field of design. Since the beginning of mankind we have observed and taken lessons from nature. The above notes are reference of a few standard simple and complex paradigms that are being frequently used in design. Therefore, keen observation of nature’s paradigms could harvest rich dividend in design for further innovative concepts.
