Network of control points are established by method of traversing. In this method, field observations are taken to compute the distance, direction and elevation of transverse sides. Then the coordinates of the traverse stations are computed using Gale's Traverse Table. The coordinates are finally plotted in scale to obtain the positions of network of control points.
