Normal Tension : It is the amount of pull that is applied on a tape to counteract the error due to sag. Fundamental Measurements : Measurements which can be measured directly in the field are known as fundamental measurements such as distance (horizontal and vertical), angles (horizontal and vertical) etc. Modulation : It is the process of varying a carrier signal in order to use that signal to convey information. The one or more of the key parameters of a signal such as amplitude, phase or frequency get modified in accordance with an information signal to obtain the modulated signal. |
