Computation for a Combined Curve

For setting out a combined transition curve and circular curve, data required to be known are (Figure 39.4):

• The deflection angle D between the tangents;
• The radius R of the circular curve
• The length L of the transition curve;
• The chainage of the point of intersection, V of the tangents.
