Water flows in channel (cross-section of the shape of isosceles triangle) of bed width and sides making an angle 45 0 with the bed. Determine the relation between depth of flow and the bed width for the condition of: (i) maximum velocity; (ii) maximum discharge. Use Manning's formula.
