We have already studied basics of DNA/RNA structure and recombinant DNA technology in previous classes. P olymerase C hain R eaction (PCR) is another revolutionary method developed by Kary Mullis and Michael Smith. Both shared Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the work in 1993.
